Review by Victoria Scott

Hailing from the Bay Area, California, Celiane The Voice is a colorful and charismatic singer who has a truly unique sound. Her music borrows from R&B, Soul, Latin Pop, and even Broadway and Hip-Hopera, just to mention but a few. She even has her own specialty: Electronica Hip Hopera! Celiane’s vocal range is impressive, and her vocal performance is expressive. Inspired by influential artists the likes of Daft Punk, Origa, Tina Quo, or Pharrell, Celiane’s work is groundbreaking - her tunes can’t be put in a box, as she breaks the boundaries between electronica, hip-hop, R&B, and many other styles.
A gorgeous and subtle rendition of “Inner Universe” is offered by Celiane the Voice. The song was originally composed by Yoko Kanno. This cover has an explosive introduction with thunderous sub-bass and funky electronica beats. As the song progresses, the vocals double with a distorted echo effect and rise over the electronica beat - a rapid punky beat introduces angelic vocals.
Celiane the Voice adds a hip-hop and soul flare to the song as she slowly glides through the bridge back into the celestial hip-hop electronic beat. Producer Bill William’s did an exceptional job keeping the original, stellar, and cosmic style while adding an eerie yet whimsical flavor to the cover. Also, Jay-J’s master and final mix highlights Celiane’s The Voice incredible vocals that will keep you mesmerized.
"Inner Universe" contemplates the meaning of life. A universe is a vast place, both externally and internally, and we are all trying to understand our purpose in this world. The first verse sings,"Angely I demony kruzhili nado mnoy, Prorezali kolyuchki i Mlechnyy put'. Tol'ko te ne znayut schast 'ya, Kto ne mog ponyat' yego zov" which means "Angels and demons were circling above me, Were cutting through thorns and Milky Ways. Only those do not know happiness. Who could not understand its call?" This spiritual imagery gives you a sense of something more significant in this world than yourself. The song continues as the chorus sings:

“Calling, calling now, for the place of knowing There's more than what can be linked Calling, calling now, never will I look away For what life has left for me.”
Celiane the Voice is a unique artist who can create something incredible and special unlike any other. She transforms "Inner Universe" with her unique dubstep and a hip-hop spin. The song touches the soul with its cosmic beats and angelic vocal arrangement. Celiane's Voice and music take you on a journey from grand sonic beat drops to soft wails and everything in between , and this is a journey you won't soon forget. Celaine's The Voice's cover of "Inner Universe" is brilliantly conceived and celestially performed.
