Review by Daniel Deprè & Staff

“Stop The Clock” is a song that comes flying out of the gates like a bat out of hell. It’s fast paced and a hell of a lot of fun. Not only can you tell the musicians are having a blast playing, but it’s a great time listening to it too. The instrumentation and overall vibe are such a great throwback to the classic rock favorites we still love today. This is the kind of music you’d love to go rock out to while at your favorite bar with your favorite people. "Stop the Clock" is all about having a good time and forgetting about your problems for a little while.
Lyrically, Katye Kellye creates a very catchy and memorable hook with the titular “Stop The Clock”. Katye wants you to let go of the strains and pressures of time and just have a fun. She is also referring to how great it feels when you meet someone who you really jive with. These are the kind of moments we’d love to freeze and stay in forever, yet sadly time waits for no one. “Wish I could stop those hands from turning, my heart is beating and I’m yearning, to spend more time with you”. The lyrics are easily relatable and written in such an endearing way.
The arrangement features a classic rock setup. The highly energetic nature is perfectly held together by the drums and bass who hardly get a break but keep on rockin’ out hard the whole way through. The bridge features a guitar solo that is very lyrical and also very technically impressive. The first half of the solo features more melodic content while the second half the guitarist gets to show off just how fast they can play. Katye Kellye’s vocal performance both chill and incredibly confident. She sings with such passion, and she really lands those higher held notes.
“Stop The Clock” is an unforgettable jammin’ good time and it’ll inspire you to forget what time it is, all while having the best time of your life.

Their sound has been described as "60 years of Rock and Roll in a neat little package."

Because 2020, and so far, 2021, have made it impossible to perform live, In short order, they released several singles, and two full-length albums, "Late Bloomer" (2020) and "Sophomore Slump" 2021. They hope 2021 will let them support the albums live for their fans.
