Rick Drevet

Written by Sylvie Marie & Staff

"Forever Home" opens with four bars of rocking, southern blues guitar. The solo, full of grit and groove, will have you out of your chair. Drevet plays with a natural syncopation that mixes rock and rhythm perfectly. Shifts in the tonality of the guitars between the verses and choruses provide the record with welcoming changes in micro-dynamics that help to drive the mood. The drums and bass complete the mix paving the way for Kyle Bellinger's vocals.

Bellinger is a true front-man with a voice that was made for this song. His vocal performance has passion and purpose as he sings about family, friends, and faith.

These themes are tied into passages of love for our country and a deep respect for those who protect it.

"Land of the free home of the brave The blood of patriots paved the way."

Drevet's lyrics are a meaningful reminder not to take what's truly important for granted.

The song has a highly memorable chorus that radiates pride and patriotism paying a rocking homage to the ones that have to leave our country order to serve it.

"It’s the ones I love I keep thinking of So Far Away I'm alone From my Forever Home"

Rick Drevet and co. are sure to make those in service feel honored and proud with this killer anthem that encapsulates the privilege of being able to live in the States.
