For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it?! If three words just aren't enough then tell us more!!

POWERFUL - Always strong harmonies and emotion . UNIQUE - Never cookie cutter, as I like to go with opposites in melody and vocals, and instrumental sounds that play off each other in the pocket! DIVERSE - I sing traditional country, pop, rock, blues, and soul as I enjoy many genres, so my music is a mix of unique sounds that with the mastery of my producer Bob McGilpin, work around the vocal lines in changing rhythms and harmonies.

When you are writing a song, where do you draw inspiration from? Or what topics do you like to sing about?

I like unusual topics and also draw from personal experiences, though the "point of view" in the song might be from a different character's perspective to change it up. My latest release, "MONEY PAIN" is about the financial hardships we face to make ends meet in the economy, along with the adversity musicians face to make a living as an artist. We sacrifice comfort for the sake of our art, and we don't rely on luck but sheer perseverance to keep making music and be heard!

Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?

I seems to always run out of time by the end of the day with my music projects, but part of the business end and promotional side requires social media expertise and visual content. I enjoy photography and video production, and am releasing my first music video of "MONEY PAIN" April 30 2020! With the virus shutdown, and inability to get everyone on set for a video shoot, I had to think outside the box on how to make a fun and interesting video remotely. My producer and fellow performer Bob McGilpin filmed his part and sent me the shots that perfectly complimented the story in the song about battling money and the music! Visit my YouTube channel for more videos.

Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it?

"BONFIRE" was a huge success winning a 2018 Josie Music Award for Best Musical Collaboration and featured other independent artists Lisa Coppola, Jimmy Parker, Donna Jo, Steve Owen. Benny Pitsinger, Gene DiPierro, and the beautiful music arrangement of Bob McGilpin. The song was about people coming together to let go of past sorrows, and to celebrate music, hope for the future, and helping each other. Recording this together at the studio was very personal and fun, and created musical bonds and friendships as well as showing the industry that independent artists are a force! The song was also accepted on the first ballot for the 61st Grammy awards in American Roots and was a great accomplishment for us all!

What was the first song or piece you ever wrote!?

I may not remember the first one, as I wrote prolifically as a child, however a song "Waitin' For The Day" written around age 10, and recorded on a tape cassette was eventually professionally studio recorded in 2006 and released to radio on the pop rock Bad Girl Album which did very well on radio and still gets massive airplay.

What is your dream gig? Is there a gig that you really want that would be the ultimate show for you?

All the songs I have been releasing in Nashville I hope to perform on tour in a fully staged theatrical show with actors, dancers and concert setting.

Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year?

I have contributed vocals and my video talents to several other artist projects in collaborations, as well as having several new songs being prepared to record in the studio. "MONEY PAIN" the latest release is a blues duet with Bob McGilpin doing well on radio, and the music video will debut April 30, 2020. It's quirky and fun and we plan on it airing on a Bongo Boy TV episode along with Youtube and other music platforms.
