For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it?! If three words just aren't enough..then tell us more!!
Classic, Romantic (mostly), and Modern
When you are writing a song, where do you draw inspiration from? Or what topics do you like to sing about? I am inspired by real life, real people, and real experiences. I like to sing and write about things I've experienced or i'm at least somehow closely related to and feel something personal about. Love songs are usually my favorite to sing or something sentimental. However, i don't mind a good fun song either here or there as long as there's some sort of meaning behind it to me, otherwise i'm really just singing words.
Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?
I love adventure. Bungee jumping, skydiving, traveling, the Caribbean, and watching movies, i've been hooked on NBC's "Manifest" TV show lately, too. Also food. I love food! Trying new restaurants, new dishes and things like that.
Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it? I've got quire a few of these. "Table for One" is a good one to mention i suppose. It was actually inspired by an older man walking into a restaurant i was a waitress at back in the day. He walked in and asked for a table. The hostess asked in a very demeaning way, "For only one?" It was a little heartbreaking to see, as i would have just said okay, and sat him down... you wonder about his story, and then others just alike - men and women sitting alone, until there you are, in the same situation and it's even worse. all the little things you think of and thoughts going through your head and your waiter or waitress' head that if you were normally sitting with company wouldn't be thoughts at all like the flowers on the table hit you a different way, the clock on the wall, and things like that.
What was the first song or piece you ever wrote!? Well, I've written songs since a very young age, so I'm sure they've evolved greatly over the years haha. I honestly don't remember the very first but when i started to write seriously and more maturely, a few that stick out are "Liar Liar", "Hopelessly Romantic", and " Table for One" What is your dream gig? Is there a gig that you really want that would be the ultimate show for you? I'd love to sing at the Grammy Awards Show
Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year? I'm always working on new material. 2020 however, will be focused on my debut album "Never Say Never" and really starting to share what I've been working so hard on with the world. Tell us where fans can access your music. You can find my music on all platforms; Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube and my website.
