Nothing but a Nightmare - Music Interview

Nothing but a Nightmare was founded by five high school best friends in Langhorne, PA. The alternative/rock/pop band have released music to critical acclaim and streaming success, and they have played countless shows even opening for Andy Grammer. In 2018 they released their first two singles, "The Girl from Scandinavia" and "Down That Road No More." The music video for "The Girl from Scandinavia" was a hit with local teens and the press. During the Summer of 2019, the band released three new singles including their top streamed song and video "Can't Fix Stupid." In February 2019, the band released their debut album "Nostalgia" which received streaming success.

After a short hiatus the band returned with their latest singles "Sittin' in the Corner (Friday Night in Boston)" and "Living in a Lie." As the band works their way up the competitive "Alternative Rock" market ladder, they hope to extend nationally. In 2020 they plan on releasing new music and touring to support their music and fans.

For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it?! If three words just aren't enough then tell us more!!

Fun. Deep. Energetic.

When you are writing a song, where do you draw inspiration from? Or what topics do you like to sing about?

Usually love or times spent with friends. It's usually either things we want to either look back on or learn from.

Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?

Going out with friends. We're all best friends so we'll go bowling or play pool. Those are usually our favorite activities.

Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it?

"Sittin' it the Corner (Friday Night in Boston") talks about our lead singer Eddie's depression and anxiety while he was in Boston for college. That one is deep for sure.

What was the first song or piece you ever wrote!?

The first song we ever wrote was a song called "All the Time" off of our first album "Nostalgia".

What is your dream gig? Is there a gig that you really want that would be the ultimate show for you?

Probably Firefly Music Festival in Delaware for sure!

Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year?

Yes were working on our second album "Kleptomania" that's set to release in the Summer of 2020.

Tell us where fans can access your music.

On our website and all streaming services.
