For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it?! If three words just aren't enough..then tell us more!!
It jumps from being euphoric to deeply apprehensive and introspective real quick in a story-telling manner.
When you are writing a song, where do you draw inspiration from? Or what topics do you like to write or sing about?
I dig deep into explaining my troubles and battles I face, such as feelings of guilt and shame/regret. I like writing about being 'stuck' a lot and me always try to get out of some kind of mess whether it's mental, intellectual discomfort, or physical.
Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy listening to some blues, especially with no vocals so I can focus on reading whatever it is I am studying with less distractions. If I'm not reading I am probably over there in the corner at the Cafe by myself drinking water and eating food that I should of cooked at home instead.
If you were to create your favorite playlist of other artists music, what would your top 3 songs be? And, what artists have influenced your music the most?..
My favorite playlist would consist of instrumentals only, made by producers and artists like Tunna Beatz, Young Taylor and Duke Levine. Wierd, I know..
Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it? Emotional doesn't have to mean sad etc., it can be a high energy too...(sad, happy, angry, fear, etc.)
My latest release 'better me' packs some real deep emotion in it. It talks about being on the hunt, constantly struggling & searching to find a better me. The sincerity basically makes me vulnerable and puts me 'on blast' by exposing my current addictions and battles I am facing.
What is your dream gig? Is there a gig that you really want that would be the ultimate show for you?
My dream gig would be performing in front of a crowd of 500+ on a professionally lit stage with my own visualizations playing behind me on the huge bright LED screen. My ultimate show would be somehow successfully having a heavy metal band on the line up as an opener for myself as well as having support acts that play country LOL
Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year?
After a year of hard work, I am three songs away from officially releasing my first professionally recorded and mixed/mastered album. After the album drops, it's time to start hitting the road, performing more outside of my city and gaining new fans from different areas.
