Members include Don, Karen and Amy Harrison, Jennie Harrison Young and Lexi White. They are backed by extraordinary musicians: Bryan and Aidan Ewald, Josh Chapman, Larry Byrne, Brad Kimes and Brandon Bartlett. Their debut album, Climate Change, is an eclectic mix of Americana.
"Men in the House" puts the fun back into country music with a song that takes us into a bar with two sisters who can't seem to find what their looking for. "Men in the house, men in the house, some heel-kickin’, done-gettin’, large-livin’, finger-lickin’ real live, men in the house. The hysterical and highly clever lyrics (written by Don Harrison and Bryan Ewald) are beyond witty and entertaining. These are the kind of lyrics that take the house down. Three women contribute to the exciting vocal work in "Men in the House." Amy Harrison is on lead vocals and Jennie Harrison Young and Lexi White contribute to the great harmonies. Amy adds plenty of sass to her vocals. Peppered with lots of expression, her voice is strong, confident and feisty. She is outstanding. Equally commanding are the musicians in the band who keep the rocking country groove engaging throughout.
"Men in the House" is exactly what country music needs right now - some sass, some fun, some clever lyrics, and a strong woman at the mic backed by a hot country family band.
