Lorenzo Gabanizza - 'Straight to the Heart'

Review by Ionas Finser & Staff

A gentle guitar opens Lorenzo Gabanizza’s powerful “Straight to the Heart” with a light, airy texture. Gabanizza’s soft, passionate vocals enter the mix with quiet confessions, inducing instant shivers down all of his listeners’ spines.

The ambiance found in this song is masterful, with all kinds of echoes coming through, as if to remind us of long lost stories and lovers. The chorus itself is a hard-hitting thriller that will leave you swaying, all while reminiscing to the relatable lyrics.

Lyrically, Gabanizza brings us on a journey through his feelings for a woman whom he cannot live without. The artist’s words flow freely and gracefully, bringing the listener in to his themes of loyalty, support, and rekindled love.

As a man who has himself dealt with a great deal of suffering, Gabanizza successfully transforms raw pain and emotion into a piece of music rich with beauty and warmth.

“From the very first day that I met you / I knew that we were meant to be as one / You helped me when I was a dying ember / Nobody, loves me as you do.”

Lorenzo Gabanizza perfectly captures a feeling that is known to all, and spins it into music that is powerful and uniquely graceful. There is something so enchanting about the way this artist works with words, and something so moving about the message he has to share. Lorenzo Gabanizza is an artist to watch, and his newest hit single speaks to the way his music will find its way straight to your heart over and over again.
