This is no surprise coming from an artist who is unstoppable when it comes to delivering country music hits that traditional country music fans love.
"I Saw Santa Fishin’” throws in a 90's country vibe. It reminded this writer of songs like “Summertime Blues” covered by Alan Jackson. The song jumps straight into the chorus from the intro and has a great shuffle beat. As the verse arrives, the drums kick back a little and the side stick technique is heard on the kit to put more focus on the low-down side of the music. After the second chorus, a guitar solo is heard, and that leads into the modulation for the final part of the song. The song was written by Richard Lynch and Joe Blanchard.
