“Cold Steel Blues” is an intense and darkly beautiful piece of music. An energetic drum track underscores vibey electric guitars and catchy vocals in this eclectic rock track. Never losing track of “raw” quality, this song features slick production values and intelligent songwriting. The band is highly effective in their delivery and the vocal take is extremely compelling. This song has an overall alluring quality that demands attention.
Lyrically, “Cold Steel Blues” tells the tragic tale of an innocent young bystander losing their life to senseless violence.
“Called It an accident, A grim night in the Lou, Grandbaby on Quincy Street, Playing in my view.”
These lyrics tackle the heavy subject matter conscientiously, highlighting the humanity of the story.
“Chanted slogans Echo out, An angel’s life Used for doubt.” The intensity of the vocal delivery brings these lyrics to life.
“Cold Steel Blues” has a timeless rock feel. Elegant backup vocals and intricate guitar phrasing sit over the top of a smooth yet powerful rhythm section. A soaring guitar solo acts as a perfect counterpoint to the song’s ripping vocal track. Taken as a whole, this track is seething with energy…a dynamic performance of a well-written song. “Cold Steel Blues” is a winner.

Rick Drevet grew up in Mt. Juliet Tennessee. Playing guitar since age 10 when his mother bought his 1st guitar off the discount rack for $10. “Pretty sure that guitar neck was converted to an ax handle.
Rick lists Hendrix, Vinnie Moore, Gary Moore, Vito Brata, John Sykes, Michael Schenker, Alvin Lee, Allman Brothers, Rush, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Judas Priest as some of his main influences. Having shared the stage with EZO, Enuff Z Nuff, Badlands, Jake E Lee, Dokken, Cinderella, and Sebastian Bach, Rick has gained a great appreciation for putting feeling into notes.
Ronnie Stoops is a long-time music lover, guitarist, songwriter, and active live performance player. Ronnie hails from Northeast Missouri from a small community of 3000. Not your big music scene town but just enough musicians to inspire Ronnie to start his journey learning guitar and become a musician.
James B Stone: As with many Music lovers. Name a song within my lifespan and I can likely give you the year it was released. Music has been my constant companion. I've been singing my entire life. My parents put me to sleep every night at the local oldies station. The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Mo-town were among the early soundtrack of my childhood. I continued my love affair with the classic his on K-She 95 and Alternative songs from 105.7 the point. To this day, I refuse to shower without my tunes blasting out. I started playing in bars around 21 and I have learned from and collaborated with, some very talented people. After years away from the stage. I got the urge and luckily I found this group! My bandmates are extremely passionate and talented. We have fun together. Ego's get checked at the door and together we have a distinct sound, and a certain unique energy. James "jimmy" Dellamano. Started classical piano lessons at the age of 7. Studied under a graduate of the St. Louis Conservatory of Music for 14 years. Also entered the same St. Louis Conservatory of Music (which sadly doesn't exist anymore) for a piano performance degree. Started writing music in his early teens and also writes and plays the "King of Instruments", the Pipe Organ, and still plays every Sunday morning for a local Lutheran Church. After High School graduation at age 17 started playing in local bands in the St Louis Metro area. Hooked up with Mike Safron from "Pavlov's Dog" who formed an original band called "Children" from 1976-1979. Played the keys for "Pavlov's Dog" St Louis reunion tour circa the '80s. Also played keys for Cheryl Dilcher for her St Louis tour circa the '80s. Stopped playing in bands to raise a family but remained a music director at a Presbyterian church for 20 years. Got the itch to play in a band again and hooked up with Rick and Ronnie of Scarlet Bridge working on originals.
